Normally I wouldn't leave a review, but for this book I felt it was necessary. Obviously this is a self published book, because there are spelling errors galore, grammatical errors and really poor sentence structure. The author also repeats the same stories over and over again. I am not doubting the authenticity and accuracy of the circumstances taking place in Somerville Ma., but it's hard to take this guy seriously, since it seems like he has a fifth grade education level. His inability to write with any cohesion what so ever is not helping his cause. This 565 page book could have easily been completed in under 100 pages.
Great read
One of the best books anyone from Somerville needs to read.
I bought 4 copies at Barnes & Noble and will give 3 away as gifts. An important fact based retrospect by author, Billy Taruo and childhood friend Somerville mayor Joe Curtitone which reveals power and corruption. You will be amazed at the stories that sound too good to be true, but there is evidence in hand by the accuser. Politics aside, it is important to bring truth and justice to all, no matter who they are.
Very interesting, hard to put down!
