My daughter is a huge starwars fan and loves these encyclopedias because they actually include information about female characters, which is almost unheard of in the star wars universe of products...even though the main character was a female! Anyway, I digress...for an avid reading 8 year old who revels in all the details of the star wars characters, this book delivers. Lots of great information you won't find elsewhere and great pictures.
Engrossing book for your little Star Wars fan. Star Wars character names are usually written phonetically so they are great for early readers to sound out. My four year old wore out his Clone Wars version of this and after many duct tape repairs and the entire silver printing rubbing off the cover from non stop use, we bought him this new Star Wars character guide.Characters run the gamut from episodes 1 - 7. There is even some Rogue One included as Tarkin's photo is a cgi scene from that movie.
My 10 year old son and I love this book. It has just the right amount of information, whether you're new to the Star Wars universe or a lifelong die hard fan. The bios are brief but informative. Reader picks up a lot of trivia and tidbits throughout.
Absolutely, 100% awesome. Pablo Hidalgo's books are amazing! Beautiful pictures and a ton of information about every Star Wars character or creature you can think of. I recommended this book to any Star Wars fan!! Really low price as well and perfect condition, not a single bent page or scratch.
Great update other than blatantly leaving Supreme Leader Snoke out but then referencing him on every VII villain page, "see supreme leader Snoke" yeah I would if I could. If they wanted to be mysterious and cool they could have had a page where it's just his silloutte and no info instead of no page at all, definitely and editorial oversight.
The content of the book is great. My son loves it. But im taking a star off because the quality of the binding is not great. The pages are not all even. As you flip through the book there are a few spots where there is a larger than normal gap between pages. Its not much of a problem so far but i worry that eventually the pages may become separated from the spine. This may be a one time mistake so i would still say this is a really nice book over all.
Caught this by surprise for $2.99. Wish the font was a little bigger without having to double tap but its workable. The information is pretty basic so far with the characters I have read about.
Well, if you're a Star Wars fan like I am, you're gonna love this book. It explains how each of the characters fits into the whole picture and what their strengths and weakness are. Everything makes more sense when all the characters are explained. And the work that went into costuming, weaponry and scenes is amazing. Buy the book!
